The month I've been waiting for lately finally come! Well, actually it's entering the middle of month now, but ((((who cares))))) !?! I'm living my September now! :)
It's the beginning of a new journey..
Quitting my job is the second of big decisions in my life, after riding on motor bike in a runaway trip from Purwokerto, Central Java, to Jakarta, 7 years ago ;p By the way, correction, I didn't quit, I stopped to make a brand new start. Maybe it sounds like a denial, but again (((( who cares ))) !?! I'm living my life now!
But don't ever think an unemployed has plenty of time to do anything. First of all, home works (literally, works about taking care of home) are endless. Doing the laundry, the dishes, cleaning up my room, mopping the floor, cleaning the dust, preparing meals, doing dishes again.. OMG, hats off to all full time housewives! You're super human! No offense, but I prefer making tons of proposals or editing thousands of scripts!
Besides, being a freelancer means being fully responsible to myself. Like arranging all the schedules, working with no particular pattern, like what time to start, to break, to end; who's to meet, how to catch the deadlines, do the bargaining; everything's so random! But I'm excited, indeed! It's all new for me, it's definitely new journey.
Also about this dream I have, the very old one, almost buried alive; being a designer (for fashion or interior products of my own brand), I swear, I'm gonna make it!
Well, overall, I'm glad I made this decision. Though, in the other side, there's a bit scare of the uncertainties, still, it encourages me to start over immediately and work my ass off!
